This rug was woven by a woman.

We source these rugs directly from old homes and private collectors across Turkey — places where these pieces have rested for 40, 50, sometimes 60 years. When we find one, it begins a journey before it reaches you.

This semicircle was hand-cut from one such rug — a vintage Isparta wool rug from the 1980s. The edges have been carefully hand-finished to ensure durability. What you receive is not a mass-produced door mat. It is a piece of a real rug, from a real home, made by a real pair of hands over forty years ago.

This half moon door mat was hand-cut from a vintage Isparta rug dating to the 1980s — approximately 40 years old. The piece captures the border and field section of the original rug: a warm terracotta orange border filled with bold geometric and stylized animal motifs above, transitioning into a rich crimson red field below with floral and geometric details in olive green, ivory, and teal.

The combination of warm terracotta and deep red gives this piece a dramatic, earthy quality — grounded and bold, yet full of intricate detail on close inspection. The edges have been hand-finished for durability and the piece lies flat, ready to use.
