First, we shake out decades of dust. Then we carefully shear the pile — what we call "hav" in Turkish — to bring the surface back to an even, clean finish. The rug is then washed and goes through a series of restoration steps. Finally, the edges are hand-stitched to ensure it arrives in your home structurally sound and ready to use.

This runner was hand-knotted in Isparta — one of Turkey's most celebrated rug-weaving cities — and dates to 1986, making it approximately 40 years old. Isparta rugs are known for their fine knotting, graceful medallion compositions, and the enduring softness of their Anatolian wool.
The field is a luminous, faded ivory cream — open and light, giving the rug an airy, almost ethereal quality. At the center sits a single large floral medallion, rendered in soft peach, sage green, dusty rose, and warm brown.

The medallion is ornate and symmetrical, with layered petals and pointed lobes that radiate outward in perfect balance. Scattered across the open ivory ground are small floral sprays — delicate, unhurried, as if dropped there by the weaver's hand between one breath and the next. The border is sage green with floral cartouches, and the end panels carry warm peach tones that anchor the composition gently at both ends.
