This vivid fuchsia and cream semicircle was woven in 1980 — entirely by hand, using pure wool and the timeless Isparta technique. The weaver filled every inch with life — a cream border of climbing pink roses and green leaves, a crisp navy stripe, and a rich fuchsia red center alive with ancient figural motifs in teal and blue. A garden. A story. A world compressed into a perfect half moon.
This semicircle was cut from a larger hand-knotted carpet — rather than let this corner of history disappear, we carefully shaped and professionally finished the edges, preserving every inch of the original hand-knotted field.
For over forty years these colors have softened, deepened, and settled into something no dye house could recreate. This is not a palette you manufacture. This is forty-five years of light, love, and time — woven into every knot.
