This sage green and cream runner was woven in 1970 — entirely by hand, using pure wool and the timeless Isparta technique. Each diamond of the trellis, each tiny floral center, each curl of the border vine was knotted one thread at a time. For over five decades, it lived in a home, absorbed the light of countless mornings, and carried the quiet patience of the hands that made it.
This runner was cut from a larger hand-knotted carpet — rather than let the piece disappear, we carefully trimmed and professionally re-finished the edges, preserving every inch of the original hand-knotted field.
The sage green has faded over decades into something far more beautiful than the original — soft ivory bleeding through the center, creating a natural gradient that no dye house could ever replicate. This is not a color you can manufacture. This is over 50 years of sunlight, love, and time — woven into every knot.
