This semicircle rug is handmade from an authentic vintage Turkish rug, originally woven in Anatolia using traditional hand-knotting techniques. Chosen for its expressive colors and decorative pattern, the rug has been carefully reshaped into a functional half round form while preserving its original artistry.

The surface features a warm golden beige background contrasted with rich red, dusty blue, soft pink and muted green floral motifs. Layered arch-like floral forms rise across the rug, framed by scattered blossoms that add movement and depth. Natural abrash, gentle fading and visible weave texture highlight the age and character of the original wool carpet.

This piece was intentionally created from a vintage rug with aesthetic wear rather than damage, allowing it to be transformed into a bold yet practical semicircle rug.
