This rug was woven in Demirci, Manisa — one of the most respected hand-knotting centers in Turkey — circa 1981-1982. It features a bold crimson red field with a large central floral medallion in jewel tones of purple, emerald green, sky blue, and ivory. Classic corner spandrels in dusty blue frame the composition in true Anatolian style. The deeply distressed, heavily worn surface gives this rug a rare painterly quality — vivid, raw, and completely irreplaceable.

This rug is approximately 40 years old and shows significant natural wear consistent with its age and history.
