✦ ABOUT THIS RUG
This rug was woven in Demirci, Manisa — one of Turkey's most respected hand-knotting centers — circa 1981-1982. What makes it truly special is its rare and striking vivid green field, covered with an all-over repeating floral pattern of red and pink blooms with gold cross motifs, connected by dark curving vine stems. Green-ground vintage Turkish rugs are genuinely uncommon and highly sought after by collectors and interior designers alike. Original borders are preserved at both short ends, with fringe intact. This is a one-of-a-kind piece; once it's gone, it's gone.
