This rug was woven by a woman.

Decades ago, Turkish women wove these rugs either to furnish their own homes or to contribute to the family's income. Each pattern was chosen by the weaver herself, each knot tied with her own hands. No two rugs were ever identical, because no two women wove the same way.

We source these rugs directly from old homes and private collectors across Turkey — places where these pieces have rested for 40, 50, sometimes 60 years. When we find one, it begins a journey before it reaches you.

This circle rug was hand-cut from one such rug — a vintage Isparta handwoven wool rug. The edges have been carefully hand-finished to ensure durability. What you receive is not a machine-made circle rug. It is a piece of a real rug, from a real home, made by a real pair of hands decades ago.

✦ ABOUT THIS RUG
This round rug was hand-cut from a vintage Isparta rug — one of Turkey's most celebrated rug-weaving regions, known for fine knotting, dramatic floral compositions, and the enduring quality of Anatolian wool.

The field is a warm, faded dusty rose and peach — a color combination that has mellowed over decades into something deeply romantic and complex. At the center sits a large, ornate floral medallion: a layered composition of teal scrolling vines, salmon roses, and ivory details that radiate outward in perfect symmetry. Around the medallion, scattered rose motifs in the same warm palette drift across the field, giving the entire composition a lush, garden-like abundance.

This is one of the most visually striking pieces in our collection. The color combination — dusty rose, peach, teal, and salmon — is rare, warm, and completely contemporary. Cut into a circle, the medallion becomes even more powerful: perfectly centered, perfectly balanced, perfectly contained.
