✦ WOVEN FROM A GARDEN THAT NEVER ENDS ✦
This ivory and burgundy runner was woven in 1977 — entirely by hand, using pure wool and the timeless Isparta technique. Every curl of the vine, every tiny flower, every scrolling tendril was knotted one thread at a time. The dense allover pattern leaves no empty space — as if the weaver could not stop, could not leave a single corner bare, until the entire field was alive with blossoms.
This runner was cut from a larger hand-knotted carpet — rather than let this piece disappear, we carefully trimmed the edges and preserved the original fringe at one end, giving it a new life and a new story to tell.
For nearly fifty years the ivory has softened, the burgundy has deepened, the navy has faded into something almost dreamlike. This is not a color you can manufacture. This is five decades of light and time, woven into every knot.
