This runner was cut from the same larger hand-knotted Turkish wool rug as our companion piece, woven circa 1983-1984, and professionally edge-finished to its current runner size. The ivory cream field is covered with a dense all-over arabesque and floral lattice pattern in muted, heavily faded burgundy, dusty blue, and blush pink. The deeply distressed surface gives this runner a rare washed-out antique quality that is impossible to replicate — a look that only decades of authentic use can create.

This runner was cut from a larger vintage rug. The long sides have been professionally finished and are clean and secure. There are no original side borders on the long edges — this is part of its history and has been clearly documented in all listing photographs.
