Decades ago, Turkish women wove these rugs either to furnish their own homes or to contribute to the family's income. Each pattern was chosen by the weaver herself, each knot tied with her own hands. No two rugs were ever identical, because no two women wove the same way.
We source these rugs directly from old homes and private collectors across Turkey — places where these pieces have rested for 40, 50, sometimes 60 years. When we find one, it begins a journey before it reaches you.
First, we shake out decades of dust. Then we carefully shear the pile — what we call "hav" in Turkish — to bring the surface back to an even, clean finish. The rug is then washed and goes through a series of restoration steps. Finally, the edges are hand-stitched to ensure it arrives in your home structurally sound and ready to use.
What you receive is not just a rug. It is a one-of-a-kind textile that survived decades, was made by someone's hands, and was carefully prepared to live another chapter — in your home.

This runner was hand-knotted in Isparta — one of Turkey's most celebrated rug-weaving cities — known for fine knotting, graceful floral compositions, and the enduring quality of their Anatolian wool.
The field has faded over decades into a soft, dreamy blush pink — warm and romantic, worn to near-transparency in places. At the center sits a floral medallion in ivory and navy blue, symmetrical and delicate. Around it, scattered floral and botanical details in the same navy and ivory drift across the blush field. At both ends, ivory border panels with floral detail frame the composition with quiet elegance.
The distress on this piece is significant and beautiful — this is a rug that has lived fully, and it shows in every fiber.
