This rug was woven by a woman.

Decades ago, Turkish women wove these rugs either to furnish their own homes or to contribute to the family's income. Each pattern was chosen by the weaver herself, each knot tied with her own hands. No two rugs were ever identical, because no two women wove the same way.
We source these rugs directly from old homes and private collectors across Turkey — places where these pieces have rested for 40, 50, sometimes 60 years. When we find one, it begins a journey before it reaches you.
First, we shake out decades of dust. Then we carefully shear the pile — what we call "hav" in Turkish — to bring the surface back to an even, clean finish. The rug is then washed and goes through a series of restoration steps. Finally, the edges are hand-stitched to ensure it arrives in your home structurally sound and ready to use.

This runner was hand-knotted in Isparta — one of Turkey's most celebrated rug-weaving cities — known for fine knotting, refined floral compositions, and the enduring quality of their Anatolian wool.
The field is a soft, faded ivory cream — warm and luminous, aged beautifully over decades. Across every inch flows a dense all-over arabesque lattice: interlocking diamond forms filled with small botanical motifs in dusty pink and warm brown. There is no border — the pattern simply reaches the edges and stops, giving the rug an open, unconfined quality that feels very contemporary.
The dusty pink accents are what make this piece truly special — soft, feminine, and completely on trend, yet made by hand decades ago through purely natural processes.
